Zashikibuta is a pig drawn in a comparitively figurative way, rather than the later (and more successful) naive and expressive fashion.
Zashikibuta is a curious French piggy, who lives on a farm. He loves gardening and sweet making, but not as much as he loves eating everything he grows and makes. His best friend is a mouse called Tabby (an odd name for a mouse, being traditionally a name for cats in the West).
