I found Everything sometime before 9-1-1999 (the great e2 database move, I believe)
Rediscovered it after a long absence in Feb 2002.

I am mostly inactive here now, having found that making small contributions to Wikipedia is easier. But I have grown steadily disillusioned with Wikipedia, and am considering coming back to e2.

Some of my dreams:

Mescaline
Stone Chickens
The Great Escape
Red Tower
Silver Goblet
Tidal Wave
Ice Stream Death
The Princess and the Warrior
Movie Phone
Llama Cheese
Tomb Battle
Skyscraper Edge
Factory and Ash
The Voice

Commentary on The Cave

I wrote this short story for my Freshman college English class on April 4th, 198 9 (exactly 13 years to the day of my posting it on E2). I was pretty obsessed w ith Lovecraft at the time. In fact, one of the reasons I chose to go to that pa rticular college was because it was located in Lovecraft's home town, Providence . There was a wealth of information about him in the university library, and I devoured all of it. Lovecraft has a very distinctive style that I found easy to imitate. If you've read any Lovecraft his influence should be pretty clear.

The story has been transcribed verbatim from the original, with only a few minor spelling corrections. Of course any real editing of it 13 years later would re sult in a greatly different story, so I left it to stand on its own.

Thanks to Professor Pi for C'ing this story, making it my first C! :)
