Pulau Pinang (also
Penang) is one of the
states
in
Malaysia, bordered by
Kedah and
Perak.
Its capital city Georgetown on the island is connected to the
mainland Peninsular Malaysia by Penang Bridge one of the longest
bridges in Asia, with a cable stayed portion in the middle.
