After running up against some technical and structural limitations of the original system, Nothing's creators considered moving the whole thing to a different web site, called nothing2. However, they quickly decided that it would be more in keeping with the project to simply wipe Nothing out of existence and replace it with the new and improved version.

Users of Nothing didn't notice much difference after the changeover, except that several nodes had inexplicably sprung back into existence. Obviously, this was irritating to the users who had put so much effort into annihilating these nodes, but after a bit of huffing and puffing, all of the stray nodes were tracked down and obliterated.
