German administrator who did most of the paperwork in organizing the genocide on the

He was sentenced to death in a televised process in Jerusalem, in 1961.
He claimed he'd just been doing his job, just like John Cusack in Gross Point Blank, but on a slightly larger scale.
And he convinced many people, who, after watching the trial, were shocked at the banality of evil.
