Gan-chan is the rat companion of Belldandy, Urd and Skuld in another spinoff of the Aa Megamisama series, Adventures of the Mini Goddesses.
His real name is Iawta Mitsuo and he is, for reasons that are too long to go into here, married to a pot. The pot, however, has run off with a kettle.
As with all male characters in the Aa Megamisama universe he is infatuated with Belldandy.
