1913-1970. A legendary American football coach. A star lineman at Fordham University. After coaching stints at St. Cecilia High School, Fordham, West Point, and the NFL's New York Giants, he became head coach of the Green Bay Packers in 1959, and turned an awful team into a memorable franchise - they won the first two Super Bowls. He was later lured to the Washington Redskins - they gave him part-ownership - and began the same transformation as in Green Bay, cut short by his death.
