center of your digital world (idea)

Maybe I'm the pathological corner case, but the center of my digital world is my spiffy cable modem, a wonderful invention that lets me do many things, including:

• find pr0n dozens of times faster than ever before,
• pretend to shoot things (Quake III and Counter-Strike),
• receive spam from my mother,
• tell my mother-in-law that the i-beam cursor is there for a reason and she should not try to make it go away,
• listen to free music I might not otherwise find (Napster),
• and node sporadically with Everything.

Remember well, lest we forget about the connected PC with a CD-ROM. At least the Blue Man Group sucks far less than those damn bunny people with spooky black masks.
