David Berman is the
singer/songwriter of the band
Silver Jews. He is also the only steady member of the band.
Berman was born in
1967 in
Williamsburg,
Virginia and graduated when he was 25 from
UMass with a
Masters in
English. Aside from the
Silver Jews albums he has a book of poetry to his credit,
Actual Air.
