The Holy Grail sandwich is the end all be all of greasy sandwiches. This is not for the faint of heart. (Dieters beware these things have well over 1000 calories each).
Holy Grail Sandwich Ingredients
- 2 slices of bread dipped in butter and lightly grilled. (Rye or Texas Toast are the best choices).
- 1 Hamburger Patty
- 6 Large French Fries
- 1/4 of an onion grilled in butter. (Cut up of course).
- 5 Strips of Bacon
- 1 Egg Fried
- 3 Slices of Cheese
- 1 Thin Piece of ham
It goes together in this order.
Bread
Bacon
Cheese
Hamburger
Cheese
French Fries (laid in a row on top of the cheese)
Ham
Egg
Cheese
Grilled Onion
Bread
This sandwich should be served with french fries. (You should have some left over anyway).
There is also another way to make this sandwich. Scramble the egg up with the onions, 2 slices of the cheese, and the ham. The place the scrambled stuff on top of the fries.
