A trio of limericks in the spirit of Ogden Nash. Apologies in advance. I don't do this very often anymore.

There once was a man named bin Laden,
And everyone thought he was rotten,
But along came Hussein,
Who got fingered for blame,
And Bin Laden was quickly forgotten.

With the Taleban under attack,
Somehow we end up in Iraq!?
Now, Saddam's a bad guy,
But I'm not going to lie,
Oil's still a wider market than smack.

okay, okay, this is the weak verse

There once was a man named George W.,
Whose foreign relations would trouble you.
Though it seems that this war
Should be more secular,
That's just right-wing old-fashioned American love for you.
