Jonathan Mover is a studio musician best known for his drumming, but who is also a fantastic bassist, guitarist, keyboard player, and engineer. He was raised in the 70's in the Boston area and began playing drums at age thirteen. His concentration since he began playing has been to improve his ability, and as such his style is as varied as it is technically perfect.

Heavily influenced by such artists as Frank Zappa, Terry Bozzio, Alan White, Neil Peart, and Todd Rundgren, as his style developed, his drumset grew in atypical directions, sometimes including multiple tympani, concert toms, gongs, and even glockenspiel and vibraphones. He studied briefly at Berklee College of Music, then moved to London, where he met Steve Howe of Yes and Steve Hackett of Genesis, and soon after the trio formed GTR, which lasted for two years.

After playing one gig with Steve Vai and Joe Satriani in 1988, Mover moved (ha ha ha...) back to the states, where he began playing with anyone who wanted him. He has recently written and performed two solo efforts, titled Einstein and Einstein too. The second album included Trey Gunn of King Crimson and Derek Sherinian of Dream Theater. He remains the drummer of choice for several of the world's greatest guitarists.
