Moderation is one of the
options on
email discussion lists.
If moderation is selected,
no one can directly post to the
list. Instead, all email
sent to the list is forwarded to
the
moderator for his/her approval.
Subscribers have been known to protest that this is
censorship, but moderation is good when
it saves you from wading through ridiculous and uninformed
posts.
