Space Giants was a live action Japanese children's show that aired on American TV in 1966.
The Space Giants were large robots from another planet that landed on Earth to warn the population of an impending invasion from Rodak, a "Space Conquerer".
The three Space Giants are: Goldar, the father figure (who is gold), Silvar, the mother figure, who is (would you believe it) silver and Gam, their son who was created in the image of Miko, the son of the reporter Tom Mura that was first informed of the potential invasion from outer space.
Space Giants is notable as it was the first color live action show of it's genre to be broadcast. Ultraman was the second to be broadcast, a whopping six days later.
