Regarded by Sherlock Holmes to be the smartest of the officers at
Scotland Yard, Gregson is a collegue and often rival of
Inspector Lestrade. Gregson is also more friendly to Holmes than
Lestrade and although he never admits it, he knows that Holmes is
his superior.
