Terrific television program which can best be described as a cross between an entertainment show and a public affairs show. Each show begins with John McLaughlin saying "Issue One" and ends with him saying "Bye Bye" in a rather loud voice. In between there is discussion of the political issues of the week, between McLaughlin and his four panelists who always seem to be vying for speaking time, in a scene resembling anarchy. His exit questions which usually go something like "On a scale from 0 to 10, with 0 meaning zero probability and 10 meaning metaphysical certitude what is the likelihood....", are often hilarious. This show lies in stark contrast to the obtuse Washington Week in Review on PBS.
