A remnant from the Cold War: a simple, free-flight rocket given the task of delivering a nuclear warhead. A mobile system meant to be deployed much like conventional artillery in battlefield areas. First deployed in 1954, replaced/upgraded by the "Little John" in 1961, a smaller missile with a longer range, and finally discarded in July, 1982.
