Undernet IRC Network.
"brotherhood 0f gimpz" was started in 1998 as a hacking zine, with a few comedic parts. k-rad-bob, tress, Prae and a few others were the main contributors. Over a few issues of its zine, the group realized it was much more entertaining to do comedy than writing computer security articles about topics that had already been written about elsewhere. b0g completely ripped away from its oh-so-unoriginal purpose of writing a silly little hacking zine and was thrown into a blatant satire of the hacking community as a whole.
