Swedish for "the Diplomat City". The expression refers to the area around Dag Hammarskjölds Väg in Stockholm, which is sort of a Swedish Embassy Row.

The embassies located in the area are those of:

On top of that, a whole lot of ambassadors have their residences in the area, most on them along Nobelgatan with a nice view over Djurgårdsbrunnsviken. (I think "Diplomatstaden" refers more to the ambassadors' residences than to the embassies.)

The area is dominated by the big fortress that is the American Embassy. It's a big, grey, ugly four story building with an ugly fence around it. (I don't mean to offend any Americans with all this.) Whenever the US is in any kind of war, the area around the embassy crawls with police officers wielding automatic weapons. (They're probably afraid of another "incident".)

Oh, I almost forgot, Diplomatstaden is a street in the Swedish version of Monopoly aswell.
