A name given to a special class of muppet that Jim Henson's Workshop used to use constantly. The Anything Muppets were just a bunch of vague bodylike shapes in which all the parts were detachable and interchangeable. There were about sixteen of the Anything Muppets at any one given time, and by just grabbing a couple of the Anything Muppet bodies and a couple handfuls of Anything Muppet parts (ears, eyes, hair, clothing, etc.) the Workshop could create a number of totally unique muppets-- never seen before, never to be seen again-- in a couple of minutes.

No matter what form that they took, the Anything Muppets were never particularly distinctive, and rarely if ever used for any purpose other than as extras.
