It's truer than if Murphy
codified it. Buy a batch of new computers, and who is going to get the lemon? The boss is, silly -- read the node
I've done everything humanly possible to keep the guy's machine running, but he insists on hosing it. He's like, "Well let's just randomly install 500 different programs and then complain when my machine boots slow." The guy may be an ace code warrior (how would I know?), but he sure can beat a machine into the dust like you wouldn't believe.
Give the boss your machine, and take the "lemon" off his desk.
