Here's a famous French Canadian.

Felix Leclerc was one of the most influential singers in Quebec's musical history. He was born in La Tuque Quebec in 1914. He started his career as a radio dramatist. He eventually left Quebec for Paris where he soon became a star.

He made his triumphant return to Montreal in 1951.

A great Leclerc song is "Moi, Mes Souliers". It is an epic tale of a man who travels and experiences many different things, and all the while, his shoes are firmly attached to his feet.

Leclerc died in 1988
