"Die Fehlfarben" is one of the most successful
German bands ever and emerged during the so called "Neue Deutsche Welle",
or First Wave out of Düsseldorf, Germany in the late seventies / early
eighties with their single "Abenteuer & Freiheit/Große Liebe".
They originated out of the several legendary punk bands such
as Materialschlacht, DAF, Der Plan and Mittagspause, or Mipau which
had produced a couple of singles.
Their "Monarchie und Alltag" got voted
one of the 5 best German albums ever.
Currently (early 2003) they are on tour in Germany, Austria
and Switzerland promoting their new album "Knietief im Dispo".
