Once upon a time, in a
USENET group called
news.admin.net-abuse.email, a
spammer made the following claim:
lumber companies lost 6%-11% of their
profit because of
bulk email. Manny
spammers believed this
drivel and have acused the
lumber cartel of trying to stop
spam to once again regain their profits,
clear cutting forests and sending
paper junk mail to every
mailbox in the world.
