An archipelago with over 24 000 islands. Situated outside Stockholm, Sweden.
As many other places is to many other people, this place is the most beautiful in world. At least to me.
The intense forest green islands close to the mainland who gradually turn into bare rocks as you head for the open water will make your heart ache, believe me. Especially when seen in a warm summer night, when midnight closes in and the sun starts setting.
This splended piece of nature should of course be seen from a boat in your own control, but there are also plenty of inexpensive charter boats which head for the inhabited islands. Spend one day and I promise you will come for another.
