Boss of the Birabuto Kingdom (World 1) in
Super Mario Land. King Totomesu resembles the
Sphinx and is the easiest boss in the
game. All it does is
jump up and down
spitting
fire. It's
easy to jump over, run under or kill--it only takes
5 hits from
Mario's superballs. Don't try jumping on it, though. You can't kill Super Mario Land bosses that way.
Note:Many people love the
gwaa gwaa noise King Totomesu makes when he's
hit with
superballs.
