The
skeleton of a
Torion after it has been
eaten by
Tatanga. Honen is one of the
enemies in
Super Mario Land. It can be found throughout
Worlds 2-1 and 2-2 of the Muda Kingdom. Honen
fly up out of the
water and aren't affected by
superballs, so
Mario has to
jump on them or
avoid them.
The name
Honen is probably related to the
Japanese word
hone which means
bone.
