I think that it is important to mention that this movie also poses a very obvious moral dilema. This film asks us to consider whether or not it is okay to kill murderers, rapists, and other low lifes without judge or jury. The director even goes so far as to have fake news interviews at the end asking people if they believe the saints are heroes or psychos for killing indescriminently those they feel need to die.
In the movie we are persuaded to think that this is a sort of holy mission for the two brothers but no clear line is drawn as to who is safe from their brand of protection. The two saints kill mobsters and men who are hired assasins, but they also kill a few random men simply for partaking in adult entertainment. So where does it stop?
