San Francisco, California (place)

When I moved to San Francisco, it seemed like every few weeks or so, I would learn of a new neighborhood I had never heard of before. There are some neighborhoods listed here that I still know nothing about, other than location. They are all listed on maps, though.

• Pacific Heights - picturesque, wealthy neighborhood
• Parkside - commercial strip within Outer Sunset
• Potrero Hill
• Presidio - a national park with some housing
• Richmond - Outer, Inner
• Russian Hill
• SoMa - South of Market; night clubs and the Metreon
• St. Francis Woods
• Sunset - Outer, Inner. Home to UCSF
• Telegraph Hill
• Tenderloin - red light district
• Twin Peaks - home to Sutro tower
• Visitacion Valley
• West Portal
• Western Addition
