Slanky is a small chapbook of poetry, circa 1998, self-published by M. Doughty of the late great Soul Coughing. It used to be buyable through soulcoughing.com, but not any more.

It's a good book even if you aren't already in love with M. Doughty's words. Some of the poems fall flat for me, but most don't; most are excellent springboards for unexpected patterns of thought.

In other poetry news, Doughty has been working on a rollicking epic poem for several years, a project he calls "a very cool mistress." And he has a tattoo of a few lines of an e.e. cummings poem on his arm. Sadly, I don't know which poem. Nor which arm.
