A short story by Burton C. Bell. Found on the booklet of Obsolete, an album by Fear Factory released in 1998. The story ties together all the lyrics of the songs, which otherwise have little to do with each other except for similar themes.
The story consists of an introduction and three "scenes" and is told in very much a screenplay-like manner; details are described and emphasized using "fades", "cuts", a "camera" and "angles". The story itself is a dystopian view of the future and deals with familiar subjects - mainly a mixture of a 1984-like society and the cold calculating awareness an AI might develop as seen in Terminator.
Burton C. Bell has talked of plans to continue the storyline. However, at least Obsolete's successor Digimortal didn't use this concept.
