Zingers® Creme Filled Cakes are wonderful little cakes made by the Dolly Madison Bakery®. The newer ones say "Great New Taste" but they taste the same to me as they always have. Maybe they have more Soylent White in them now, eh?

They come in several varieties, but the only one I ever eat is chocolate. Therefore the information below pertains to the chocolate variety.

Ingredients: sugar, enriched bleached wheat flour (flour, reduced iron, "B" vitamins (niacin, thiamine mononitrate (B1), riboflavin (B2), folic acid)), water, corn syrup, vegetable and/or animal shortening (contains one or more of: partially hydrogenated soybean, cottonseed, or canola oil, beef fat), high fructose corn syrup, cocoa processed with alkali, modified wheat starch. Contains 2% or less of: whole eggs, wheat starch, guar gum, cellulose gum, agar, leavinings (baking soda, sodium acid pyrophosphate, monocalcium phosphate), natural and artificial flavors, salt, monoisolate, polysorbate 60, sorbitan monostearate, propylene glycol, calcium sulfate, sodium caseinate, adipic acid, sorbic acid (to retain freshness), artificial color (Yellow #5).
