R&B singer, musician, song writer, and
producer who was a former member of the
R&B group
Raydio. Ray was born May 1, 1954 in
Detroit, MI.
One of his (if not the) biggest hit was "Ghostbusters" - a song for the movie with the same title. Parker was sued by Huey Lewis who claimed the song was a rip-off of his song "I Want a New Drug" which had been released only a few months prior. The lawsuit was settled out of court.
