Aestesis is a software program made for
VJs. It was originally built for
MS-
DOS, but there is a
Windows version too. It responds to
audio input by displaying
images or
video clips
synchronized to the
music. You can
tweak the effects,
mix them, there's
plugin support and you can run it full
screen too. There is an
SDK if you want to write your own plugins.
