Bondi Blue is the name of the original color of Apple's iMac computer line. Other colors have since been added, such as Tangerine, Blueberry, Key Lime, Ruby, Sage, etc. It is the very popular line that started the iBook / iMac trend of "colored computing". This color blue is one of the revitalizing factors of Apple Computer, amazingly enough.

The orignal iMacs (including the Bondi colored one) were based on Powerbook-like parts, and thus suffered the numerous problems that that line did. The look and feel of this color and its successors transferred to many of the applications produced on the Macintosh.

The color named Bondi blue is probably based on Bondi Beach in Sydney, Australia.
