Attempts to explain the difference between a good-looking person and an attractive person.

/me picks up a notepad and sketches a handy little Venn diagram.

The people in this circle have good genes, good grooming, and usually both. They are nice to look at. They are aesthetically pleasing.

The people in this circle may or may not be photogenic. But perhaps they speak beautifully. Perhaps they are ticklish. Perhaps they have really hip nerdy glasses that hide their beautiful eyes and underline their big bushy eyebrows. They will have the ability to look beautiful to someone, if not everyone.

The kids in the middle are nice-looking but also have a tendency to be interesting in some other way. Drool drool.
