An ancient British
tribe, the largest in
East Anglia, occupying much of modern-day
Norfolk and northwest
Suffolk.
They rebelled against Roman rule in AD47, and most notably in AD60, when their queen, Boudicca, united many tribes and led them in a revolt which almost brought about the collapse of Roman administration in Britain.
