There's a swimming hole on the Asquamchumake, right near the Moosilauke Ravine Lodge, where the water flows fast, but it flows smoothly across the top of the swimming hole, presenting an image of reflected sky as you jump in. And speaking of images, one I'll not forget is the moment Sarah broke the surface, after she'd been seeing how long she could hold her breath underwater - first the surface was disturbed a bit, and then she burst through the reflected sky, leaving ripples and bubbles that were quickly swept downstream, first her head, then those two perfect breasts, and then she was reaching for her towel. And then it was my turn to dive into that little patch of reflected sky.
