David Lynch's
surreal and marvellous
comic strip. It appeared from 1983 to 1992 in the
LA Reader and other
alternative newspapers and was partially reprinted in the
Dark Horse Comics anthology,
Cheval Noir.
The drawing and layout was exactly the same in every appearance of the strip--with three identical panels, and a fourth with the same scene in the dark. Only the
speech bubbles changed, though they all began the same way:
"The dog who is so angry he cannot move. He cannot eat. He cannot sleep. He can just barely growl. Bound so tightly with tension and anger, he approaches the state of rigor mortis."
Discover your inner angriest dog. Love your angriest dog. Recognise that it doesn't get any better than this, and know that
monopoly jam is a game preserve.
