Deadbolt is also the name of "the scariest band in the world", a group of guys from
San Diego playing spooky
surf guitar music with morbid, deadpan lyrics chanted in a style not unlike
Tarzan or
Tonto. There's enough humor lurking beneath the serious
facade to make their songs
habit-forming, so don't be surprised if you are suddenly able to distinguish one song from another.
