ploys from
Apple at the time. This was certainly an amazing machine, that could
network, talk to
scsi devices, and access
16 MB of
RAM (through addon piggyback memory boards from
Applied Engineering.) My jealous friends with their
Tandy computers said GS stood for "Graphics
suck".
Playing around too much with the
Ensoniq sound chip would burn it out for life, like mine did one day after just purchasing
Taito's "
Arkanoid".
