The Hidden One. Usually shown in
anthropomorphic form wearing a tall feather crown, but often as a
ram or as a
goose.
The existence of his cult was first found in Thebes, although scholars have conjectured that he may have first appeared as a primeval diety. In Egyptian history, he was preeminent among deities from 2000 to 1360 BCE.
His role was a seen as the uniter of all of the roles of the creator and the sustainer of the world.
