Both sisters hit their keys at the same time. The star exploded. Light streamed by leaving chaos in its wake.

They played on. One hand up, the other hand down, in synchronous rhythm. When the fell keys struck, more of the sky scattered into light. Leaving nothing but rays of fire.

In the same measure, different notes. New galaxies rose from the ash and dust of the previous. Their song rippled into the infinite. Their grasp just as far, arms swept beyond constellations.

Anne and Christy sat in the middle of the end and the beginning. Light crashed and formed around them. The other end of black holes led to sisters like them, playing new beginnings even as old realities faded into ruin.

The finale comes.

Silence.

A new song begins. Their arms lift, ready to strike again.
