A 1997 Wolfgang Petersen film starring Harrison Ford and Gary Oldman, Air Force One is about a terrorist hijacking of the plane carrying the President of the United States. A high-action adventure film, it drags you into suspense and holds you there, even when you think the threat is over, til the very end of the movie.

Starring opposite him as a Russian radical who's trying to get his leader out of prison and back into power, Gary Oldman puts on a riveting performance. Also in the film is supporting actress Glenn Close, who plays the Vice President of the United States who does everything she can on the ground to help the President and his staff in the air.
