Pearblossom, elevation 3,000 ft., is a small town on the north side of the San Gabriel Mountains. This quiet town of 1,500 people is a waypoint on the trek to the Devil's Punchbowl County Park. It sits right off the aptly named Pearblossom Highway (Hwy. 138). Most any spot in town has a spectacular view of the San Gabriels and the Antelope Valley.

Outside of the single gas station in Pearblossom and an antique shop, there is not a lot of commerce. The market next to the gas station appears closed but it does feature the word "booze" attached to the west facing wall.

Pearblossom is a place that is beautiful and in the same instant destitute. The cheap large plots of land that are for sale will become a bastion for Angelinos to escape the urban sprawl.
