BASIC, Simons's Basic could not be compiled- and even worse required the presence of an add-on
cartridge before programs would run.
Thus whilst Simon's Basic captured my attention with it's extra graphics commands, soon I moved back to the standard BASIC and used the PET Speed compiler to convert programs to zippy machine code.
