(Hinduism, Sanskrit)

A text of the Gaudiya Vaishnavas, or Bengali Vaishnavas, written by Srila Rupa Gosvami, one of the Six Gosvamis. It contains eleven verses (see here for text) on the essential intructions by which the practitioner of bhakti yoga may become free from the lower modes (gunas) of passion and ignorance, control the mind and senses, and advance in self-realisation.

The text has been rendered into english by the Founder-Acharya of the Hare Krishna movement, H.D.G. A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada, as the Nectar of Instruction.
