Βαβυς

The brother of the Phrygian Satyr MARSYAS, who wanted to compete with Apollo in the art of music. Babys also played the flute, but a flute with only one pipe, while his brother played the double flute. Babys was a simpleton, who played so badly that he was spared the god's anger.
