Alien Autopsy (thing)

A famous hoax from the mid 1990s that was the topic of countless jokes, broadcast on the Fox network.

Black and white footage of an "alien" autopsy, claimed to be from the 1940s. Fox even got some special effects guys to analyze it, and they said it looked real. My ass. A few years later, they found one of the actors, who turned out to be some guy in the UK. As I recall, he said he didn't know it was going to be sold as a hoax.
