Hoku means "star" in
Hawaiian. It's also the name of a pretty good
pop-star.
Hoku is a beautiful girl from Hawaii who is the least-known pop star ever. A former Tommy Hilfiger model, Hoku is a devout Christian - which is a nice change from today's music-culture. Hoku doesn't flaunt her body to sell more albums, which means (IMHO) she's a pretty good role-model for young girls. You may have seen her in a recent Twix commerical - she's the girl with a flower in her hair.
